July Program & Facility Updates

Thanks to the 160+ volunteers who came out to build a playground for the Dotsero community. The build day was a perfect example of the power community and partnerships can have, check out some pictures HERE!

Please make note of our special facility hours for July 4th listed below.


  • July is Parks & Rec Month! Check out this fun activity book the NRPA put together with plenty of ways to celebrate! CLICK HERE to view it.
  • If you can run swim and bike you can Tri! The LG Tri fundraiser is this Saturday, July 7th at the Eagle Pool. LEARN MORE.
  • Gymnastics classes start next week! LEARN MORE.
  • Gypsum Race Series – You don’t want to miss the family-friendly Mud Run on Saturday, July 14th. LEARN MORE.
  • We still have some spaces left in the below summer sports camps. Make sure to sign up soon before someone else takes your spot!
  • Youth Soccer, Volleyball and Football league registration is open! Registration Deadline is Sunday, July 29th for Gypsum, Eagle & Edwards leagues. LEARN MORE.
  • Get certified to be a lifeguard! We’re hosting a class the week of July 30th at the Eagle Pool. LEARN MORE. 
  • We are hosting an InteGreat! Summer Lunch location at the Gypsum Rec Center with Eagle County Schools. Trinity Church will be hosting locations in Avon and Edwards. LEARN MORE about locations and times.

  • Gypsum Rec Center: 5:30am-1:00pm
  • Eagle Pool & Ice Rink: 12:00pm-4:00pm
  • Edwards Field House: 9:00am-3:00pm

Gypsum Rec Center

  • We’re selling the fitness equipment we’ll be replacing in August! CLICK HERE to see equipment and cost. 
  • Don’t forget, you can lock in a lower annual membership rate if you sign up before July 31st! Speak with the front desk staff at the GRC to learn more.
  • Gypsum Daze GRC Facility Hours
    • Friday, July 20th 5:30am-6:00pm – Lundgren Blvd. will be closed all day. Parking for GRC visitors will be at the Gypsum Sports Complex accessed via Cooley Mesa Road.
    • Saturday, July 21st– Closed all day.
